WE DID IT!

A month on from our massive acheivement, we thought we ought to think about our next event. No record attempts this time, we just wanted a day to enjoy netball, to meet up again with those who took part, and to raise even more money for The Kids Village. So we are hosting a netball tournament on Sunday 31st August at the Ashby School. It will be great to see as many people from the netball marathon as possible, any maybe some new faces too! As well as playing netball for 75 hours, we also attempted to break two world records and set a brand new one. You can read more details using the link below, we also have photos of the teams that took part during the event. We also have had a mention in the local press.

A huge, HUGE thank you to everyone involved in making the netball marathon happen in the first place and to make it such a success. The participants, the teams, the umpires, the scorers, the volunteers, the venue, the sponsors, the supporters and, most importantly, those who have made a donation to this fantastic cause. The money raised will make such a difference and the effects of 75 hours over a few days in February 2025 will last long into the future. As well as taking part in 75 hours of netball, teams and individuals could also take on the challenge of breaking a Guiness World Record, you can read more about that, here.
